🤝April was a bustling month filled with activities, including several hotel visits that kept the team on their toes. Events like our very first Supplier Connect webinar added to the momentum, which sparked some great engagement from industry peers.
Our team also met with students from Dubai College of Tourism and University of Wollongong Dubai to begin a mentorship programme for sustainability in hospitality.
We also began laying the groundwork for the 2025 Responsible Hoteliers Summit, setting the stage for what promises to be an impactful event geared towards sustainable hospitality.
Introducing the Supplier Connect webinars!
We have launched a new webinar series, Supplier Connect, which are monthly webinars that serve as a platform for sustainability solution providers to showcase their offerings. Our first webinar featured ESG data tools with Considerate Group — helping hotels explore verified, ready-to-implement solutions.
The First Group Hospitality (TFGH) Scales Sustainability!
25 associates from The First Group Hospitality completed our HOST (Hospitality Operations Sustainability Toolkit) workshop, enhancing team knowledge and boosting audit readiness. Learning through card games!
2024 Impact from TFGH: 1.25M plastic bottles eliminated and 573 tons of waste diverted.
🌳 Bonus: A tree planted in their name for every HOST workshop in collaboration with EcoMatcher | B Corp™ and The Storey Group.

💧Bottled Water: Environmental and cost comparison of imported vs. locally sourced options (e.g., Dubai Can).
🎓Sustainability Kiosk x University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)
We’re also collaborating with University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) to help students explore how emerging technologies like AI, AR, and blockchain can accelerate sustainability in hospitality.
