🏆 Dubai Recognises 153 Hotels with Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp
On Wednesday, 26th February 2025, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) hosted the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) Stamp awards ceremony at Atlantis the Royal, celebrating hotels that have excelled in sustainability.
Launched in 2023 during the UAE’s Year of Sustainability, the DST Stamp recognizes hotels that excel in the 19 Sustainability Requirements, promoting environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility.
2024 DST Stamp Award Highlights
This year, 352 Hotels applied for the awards, of which 153 winners were selected:
- 🏅 18 hotels received the Gold award
- 🥈 64 hotels earned the Silver award
- 🥉 71 hotels achieved the Bronze award
🚀 Sustainability Kiosk is proud to have supported several hotels in their journey toward certification. While many achieved recognition, we acknowledge that some of our partner hotels did not qualify this year. We value their commitment and will continue working closely with them to understand the feedback, enhance sustainability performance, and push boundaries toward responsible hospitality. We congratulate Taleed AlKhatib and the team at DST for championing this effort.
These awards are a testament to Dubai’s vision for sustainable tourism, reinforcing the city’s Net Zero 2050 strategy and Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
