Dubai Recognises 153 Hotels with Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp
On Wednesday, 26th February 2025, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) hosted the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) Stamp awards ceremony at Atlantis the Royal, celebrating hotels that have excelled in sustainability.
Launched in 2023 during the UAE’s Year of Sustainability, the DST Stamp recognizes hotels that excel in the 19 Sustainability Requirements, promoting environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility.
2024 DST Stamp Award Highlights
This year, 352 Hotels applied for the awards, of which 153 winners were selected:
🏆 18 hotels received the Gold award
🥈 64 hotels earned the Silver award
🥉 71 hotels achieved the Bronze award
These awards highlight the hospitality sector’s commitment to Dubai’s Net Zero 2050 strategy and align with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), reinforcing the city’s vision for a sustainable tourism future. As Dubai continues to establish itself as a global leader in sustainable hospitality, the DST Stamp serves as a benchmark for excellence, inspiring hotels to adopt best practices in sustainability.
