Dubai Marina Mall, one of Dubai’s premier retail destinations, was experiencing persistent odor issues in its garbage compactor room—an enclosed, high-traffic service area where waste is collected, compacted, and stored. The operational intensity of the space, combined with the tropical climate, resulted in heavy odors that impacted air quality and staff wellbeing.

To resolve this, the mall partnered with Leading Hospitality Services to install AQMC’s OCU2-HO20 units, specially designed for high-odor environments. Using advanced Oxygen Cluster Technology, the AQMC system neutralizes odors, eliminates airborne bacteria and viruses, and sterilizes surfaces—without the use of chemicals, filters, or ongoing servicing.

The technology works continuously and autonomously, making it ideal for 24/7 operational spaces like waste rooms, kitchens, and BOH zones.
