Read a 3000-page report OR do a Climate Fresk Workshop – Fun, Engaging Science-based Education on Climate Change.

Radhika Arapally and Tiffany McGrath from the Sustainability Kiosk team were fortunate enough to attend a Climate Fresk workshop hosted by Oliver Baillie, Co-Founder & CEO at Plain Tiger, Ambassador Top Tier Impact and facilitated by Alex Misseri held at Spill the Bean Coffee in the Sustainable City Dubai.

The 3-hour Climate Fresk workshop is a fun, collaborative and creative workshop that raises awareness about climate change.  The facts in Climate Fresk are sourced from the most respected scientific publications, IPCC reports and presented using cards, connecting the climate crisis.  The 3-part workshop is broken into reasoning, creativity, and discussion segments, allowing participants an active role in linking the causes and effects of climate change, then taking a step back and understanding the systemic nature of the challenges presented.

“Climate Fresk” offers a powerful tool for providing quality climate education and has been working to bring people and organisations on board with the climate transition since the end of 2018.   Available in various formats, the Quiz Fresk, The Junior Fresk (11-15year old’s) and Adult Fresk Workshops, the tool has successfully expanded climate awareness.

Since its inception in 2018, climate Fresk has grown globally and facilitated the education of 800,000+ participants with 35,000+ volunteers conducted in over 50 countries in 45 languages.
