By Radhika Arapally,
Sustainability and responsibility get used interchangeably in tourism, and that’s exactly the problem. One sits comfortably inside a brand or ESG report. The other has to sit on a balance sheet, a board agenda, and a growth strategy.
Tomorrow at ATM Dubai’s Future Stage, our Founder Radhika Arapally be moderating a fireside on that exact distinction, with Dr. Aleksandra Gardasevic-Slavuljica, Tourism Strategist & Advisor. We’re moving past sustainability as a reporting exercise and into the harder questions: who actually owns accountability when tourism growth puts pressure on a destination’s environment, communities or infrastructure — and what data and digital infrastructure need to look like for that accountability to be measurable, not just claimed.
It’s a conversation we are proud to bring to the stage as Senior Strategic Representative, Middle East for the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, and one that sits right at the heart of what we build every day at Sustainability Kiosk.
